Can I still join if I’m not fit or flexible?

Ju Jitsu will help you build flexibility, strength, and cardio fitness over time. You don’t need to be in shape to start.

We meet you where you are and help you progress safely and at your own pace. It’s never too late to begin."


I’m over 40 — am I too old to start martial arts?

"Not at all. Many of our adult students are in their 40s, 50s, and beyond.

Ju Jitsu is about efficiency, awareness, and control — not brute strength or athleticism.

Our adult classes are welcoming, encouraging, and tailored to different ability levels. Whether you’re looking to get fit, learn self-defence, or challenge yourself in a new way, age is no barrier."


What kind of fitness will I build doing Ju Jitsu?

"Ju Jitsu develops total-body fitness.

You’ll build strength, coordination, balance, and endurance — all while learning practical skills. Because training is varied, you’ll improve core stability, flexibility, and reaction time too.

And the best part? You’ll be getting fit without staring at a treadmill."
