There are so many benefits for your kids

The perception of many parents is that martial arts for kids is simply teaching punching, kicking and learning how to fight.  However, this is such a limited way of thinking. Martial arts teaches many skills and offers many benefits that go far beyond most other activities available to children.
Our Ju Jitsu program offers many additional benefits by combining safety awareness, personal values, fun fitness games and self defence skills.

The personal values our own program covers are discipline, self-discipline, focus, respect, integrity, excellence and commitment. These are values most kids could benefit from.

Parents contact us for several reasons, mainly because they want their children to learn discipline in a structured environment, to help them focus, to help increase confidence, to encourage their kids to be active, or to keep them fit and healthy but sometimes because their children have been bullied.

For me teaching martial arts for kids is very rewarding because we can help them in so many ways.

We are teaching essential life skills children need know. learning skills to defend themselves if necessary or keep themselves safe, I think is equally important as say, learning to swim.

We are not always with our children and it's important they have these skills, not only for our peace of mind but for their own personal safety.
